Yes, I remind myself of that too, but interestingly, it doesn’t result in the same mental switch for me. “Get to” feels like Miranda Priestly saying “Don’t be silly, Andrea, everyone wants this,” even if I’m overwhelmed, stressed, etc. The “Need vs Want” switch helps me be really honest about what is on my list. I realized the vast majority of my stress comes from putting things in the wrong categories!
